The American International School is a day school. While over 25% of the students are American, there are students from around 30 different countries. It is a private, non-profit school that teaches the US general academic curriculum from pre-kindergarten to high school. French, German, Dutch and Spanish are taught as foreign languages. Although the classes are instructed in English and the school is English speaking, English is taught as second language to other foreign language students.

The Japanese International School shares it's campus with American School. It provides Japanese primary and three year high school education (ages 6-15) and is taught in the Japanese language. The school comprises 55 students, all of whom are Japanese.

The Blijberg School is a Government funded Dutch school with an International Teaching department. It offers a primary level education in English. The students are encouraged to integrate into the Dutch community by studying Dutch language and culture.

Wolfert Scholengroep

The Wolfert School Group is in four departments on different campuses around the city. The departments are divided into areas of education based on the Dutch school system and is one of the only truly bi-lingual schools in Rotterdam. It offers integration and learning in English for International Students taught alongside native Dutch speaking students. English speaking students are able to graduate with an International Diploma in English along with the Dutch high school diplomas. There are 50 different nationalities represented in this school system. The Wolfert group offers secondary school education only.

Offers the Dutch curriculum as well as International Transition classes (ISK). These transition classes are intended for non-Dutch speaking (or limited comprehension) students to integrate into the Dutch school system.

Situated in it's own building, the RISS offers a totally international secondary education. International students graduate with an International General Certificate of Secondary Education, which is equivalent to the IB. Around 30 nationalities are represented at this school.
